I hope you all are enjoying the warmer weather and the explosion of GREEN in this part of the world. The transformation always seem to coincide with Vermont’s Green Up Day. Maybe those out cleaning up light some virtual fuses that start the explosion of green. Personally, I’m enjoying it and soon will be planting my garden as well.
My first topic to share with you is a reminder about the CPRA archives that are held at the Middlebury College. If you go to the page on the CPRA website: http://crownpointroad.org/archives.htm you will be able to read more details about the “stash” there. You will also see our longtime “guardian” of our goods, Hans Raum. Unfortunately, he has recently retired his role, but don’t worry, our stuff is in good hands with Rebbekah Irwin. My 2nd topic is a nice find thanks to Bill Allen’s daughter. The photo shows an old culvert on the old CPR. It may have been in the Springfield area, but currently no one knows where it is (or was). I have attached the photo to this email.
My 3rd topic is about the CPRA website. A few people have noticed that the 2016 calendar has not been posted. The website is being prepared for a bit of an upgrade. Some of the change will be “under the hood”, but I’m sure everyone will like the new look. So please be patient, the calendar and other content will be available soon.
