Hello Friends of the CPR,

For all of you braving the “WINTER” here in the Northeast, I hope you’re out enjoying the weather this weekend. With all the sun yesterday, it was hard to stay inside. Even if I was given a new historic map to study, I would have chosen to hike through the woods. If you know me, I love maps, so that says something. Speaking of maps, I recently discovered a new Beers Atlas recently offered by the Rutland Historical Society. The date of the map is 1884. I did not know it existed and is very interesting to look at. You can find it here: http://www.rutlandhistory.com/publications.asp

The team of the CPRA is still working at finalizing the details for the upcoming calendar of outings. I think everyone will find something of interest I hope. So stay tuned for the official mailing to go out.
