Hello fellow members,
I am embarrassed to tell you how many times I have forgot to send out this reminder for the upcoming hike this coming Saturday. I should be especially on top of this one because I am leading the hike! Well I suppose I’ve been really busy and that is my excuse.
Has everyone been out enjoying the great foliage and fall weather? While some may be dreading what comes after the leaves are down, I’ve been focused on the present and enjoying it.
Last weekend I scouted out the hike I will be leading and it isn’t tremendously long, but it does offer some rather steep sections and with all the leaves down, can offer some slippery footing. So be advised this will not be an easy hike. But the view on top will be very rewarding. Let’s hope for good weather for the last hike of the 2013 schedule.
