How many of you visited the History Expo last month? Well hopefully a good number of you. I attended my first one and it was amazing! It was so good I returned on Sunday for the afternoon as well. Unfortunately it is every 2 years, so if you haven’t been before, start planning now, you won’t be sorry.
As the weather warms up here in the northeast, we are welcoming the comfort of air conditioning more. So that makes it a perfect time to participate in a car tour! Jim Rowe will be leading the charge this coming Saturday. He will be sharing lots of great information and tales from the past.

Tour along the “Ti” (Fort Ticonderoga) Branch. Meet at the Park in Orwell Village. Leader Jim Rowe will guide everyone from Marker #51 to Larrabees Point and back. There will be discussion about the Ti Branch and a possible connecting road to Mount Independence. We will also look at two other granite markers that may be a mystery(?). Be sure to bring a lunch for the stop at Lake Champlain.
