I must forgo the greetings and skip to the sad news of the recent passing of Sue Ransom. Sue was the wife of the legendary CPRA former Director and Historian Albert Ransom. If you were to flip to page xii of the 2011 edition of the Markers book, you would see a photo and brief bio of Al. Sue passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her daughters. I was not fortunate enough to meet Sue (or Al), but I know the name Ransom is well known in the CPRA family. You can read her obituary here:
