Outside of Fort Christie, the rain continues to fall while the ice continues to thicken. I’m glad I don’t have to go anywhere tonight! My carriage doesn’t have studded wheels and my horses are on strike. I think they want more grain in their diet, but I can’t seem to translate there constant neighing and snorting. The board of directors for the CPRA met recently and have a solid draft for the upcoming calendar. Now the details are being worked out and the elves are starting to draft up some propaganda to mail out to members. I always welcome suggestions for outings and any ideas to get more participation with the organization. So many of you are very generous with your membership donations, but we also need some new blood with our committees and leadership. We don’t have an Uncle Sam, but if we did, he’d be asking for volunteers.

I have chiseled into my calendar an event for this coming Sunday. It is in Shrewsbury, Vermont. Know where that is? Well, that is where all the action will be starting at 3pm and will be held at the Cuttingsville Library.
